Project Launch: Final Statement

This project is finally coming to an exciting end!

It really has been a rollercoaster with a few bumps amongst the twists and turns but it is coming to a smooth end.

The past three months have been a lot of experimentation, trial and error (with no shortage of errors), late nights at prac and many confused and frustrated faces. However, it has also seen a lot of happiness and pride in figuring out new programs, kindness and expertise from our prac supervisor (thanks Brad), encouragement from another prac teacher (thanks Pete) and many different emotions from all of us when we found out that GarageBand had been updated (thanks Apple, your timing was great).

Louise and I hope that this resource will be used in music classrooms like NBCS and that it can encourage students to create and explore music using technology. GarageBand provides a great way into the world of composing and we hope that our resource helps students to make more meaning out of their experimentation and musical play. It is also a good way for teachers to learn more about GarageBand and how it could be used in a classroom setting.

So, what should you do next?
